We are hiring on behalf of our client in the Pleasanton area for an Accounting Assistant / AP Specialist. The role involves supporting the accounts payable function and assisting with general accounting tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting or accounts payable
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is a plus
  • Must reside within 12 miles of Pleasanton, CA
